We are a social enterprise in New Delhi that up-cycles waste fabric generated from apparel scraps to create handcrafted decorations by Afghan woman refugees in India. Our products are eco-friendly and support sustainable incomes that help in building communities of artisans. SilaiWali carefully handpicks beautiful Indian cotton waste fabric to develop a line of simple yet sophisticated rag dolls and home and festival decor items. Each piece is designed, cut, stitched and embroidered in our studio in Delhi. Silaiwali is a member of the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO).
