Muriel Maire creates sculptural objects that combine several techniques such as weaving, basketwork, embroidery, crochet. Self-taught artist, her creative approach is characterized by the intuitive assembly of natural materials, plant fibers, driftwood, seed pods, dried flowers as well as recycled elements such as cardboard or fabric. As an extension of her artistic work, Muriel also makes photographs of her creations, and thus highlights certain details of the realization.
