MIYUCA

Miyuca creates unique pieces out of natural waste, entirely made by hand and through a sustainable production. Each product reflects the beauty and diversity of nature, strongly focusing on Slow Design.

Miyuca is a one-woman studio founded by Italian designer Jasmin Castagnaro. Its philosophy is to use natural materials which are normally considered waste and transform them into new products. Out of this thoughtful approach the collection LAAB, meaning “leaves” in the South Tyrolean language, was born. The new material is made of fallen leaves collected during autumn and turned into many different objects such as lampshades, coverings or accessories, with the extraordinary feature to let light shine through unique textures.
