The design was created in collaboration with the renowned company Fortnum and Mason, founded in 1707 in PIcadilly, London, that is now one of the leading tea suppliers of the English royal family. Hence the choice of the Camellia Synensis flower as the protagonist of this design: it is in fact from the processing of this plant that tea is obtained. The flowers, leaves and shoots from which the precious drink is extracted, are here used to decorate a wide selection of not only textiles, but also of porcelain of the highest quality.
