Jungle vine weaving, is an inherited skill of Khmu ethnic in the north of Laos. Khmu women harvest vine from jungle nearby their village, extract fibre, join fibre to form a yarn, and then weave in to a rectangular piece. Since the jungle vine is naturally grown, the production is very limited and seasonal.
This cushion cover is made from jungle vine and hand spun hand woven natural dyed cotton.
