The Grand Duc cushion cover offers two complementary designs, placed face and back, which tell a story about birds. On the face a ballet of an owl, on the back a winter forest decor whose bare branches are decorated with mistletoe balls while letting the stars pass through. The bare tops of trees under a sky where the stars shine evokes spaces without visible or known borders. There is an aspiration towards infinity. Digital printing is used to enhance the great finesse of execution of the “engraving effect” patterns.
