This fountain is a variant of a Belle Époque absinthe fountain from the end of the 19th century. The glass bowl is mouth-blown and the fountains are handmade. Absinthe fountains were mostly used in high-end bars because of their high price. They were brought to the table, where the customer prepared absinthe himself.
