Designed by Yukio Hashimoto This collaboration between Kaba-zaiku and Magewappa, which are two of Akita's main craft traditions, gives a new shape to this traditional piece. Both colors come from cherry bark and Akita cedar. Their contrast underlines the particular appeal of Kaba-zaiku. The base of the tray is made of Magewappa, wrapped in cherry bark.
