Himalayan nettle (Girardinia diversifolia) grows naturally at altitudes of 1,200 m to 3,000 m in the open forests of the Himalayas. It is an erect grass that can reach 3 m in height. The inner bark is processed locally, hand-formed into yarn and woven. This collection is the result of a social and agricultural micro-development program to support the valorization of natural resources in an eco-design approach. A unique creation from Karawan.
