The tablecloth is made of fabric with the famous Toile de Jouy motif, decorated with idyllic French genre scenes. The motif is inspired by the ways of having fun at the court of Queen Marie Antoinette and shows how the aristocracy spent their free time on picnics, pretending to be shepherds and shepherdesses.
