The Wabi rattan mirror is made by artisans in Yogyakarta, on the island of Java. The rattan, harvested locally, is sorted, washed, dried and sanded. Once smooth, it is curved with steam to draw the desired pattern that will be varnished. The rattan canes are arranged one by one by the artisans on a wooden structure that surrounds a mirror, like a regular frame where the angles give way to harmonious roundings.Product specifications
