The concept of exploring and executing optical perceptions in a woven rug was first trialled a decade ago by Zollanvari and further developed since… using devices such as recurring simple forms and rhythmic patterns, vibrating colour-combinations, moiré patterns and multiple perspectives. This design of concentric colourful circles in varying sizes in multiple formations is exceptionally artful.
