In the FUTURA collection, Paola Navone re-invents the shapes of Baroque-inspired ceramics, transforming the objects of the traditional artisan businesses of Bassano del Grappa and Nove in the Vicenza area in northern Italy, from which she drew inspiration, into contemporary decorative elements. The vase FUTURA 17 stands out among the design objects of the collection, and fascinates in its entirety. Matter moves smoothly and volumes dance in space. Supported by four feet, the vase expands its volumes like a futuristic sculpture and twirls with the lines in a baroque echo.
