Carreu is much more than three blocks of wax; it is an invitation to a journey through time and space. They are the stones of the great classical temples, skilfully engraved by master stonemasons and sculpted by persistent erosion. But these candles also transport us to the very essence of Pallars, to the orthography of the territory and the landscapes that saw the birth of our Tradition of candle-making. The flames, trembling, evoke the farmhouses scattered throughout the region, those ancestral embers, that are now uninhabited.
