The vase by Andriy and Olesya Voznicki "Motanka” evokes the folk doll of the same name, a talisman that mothers once gave to their children. Its anthropomorphic, sober and protective shape is reminiscent of an enveloped body, surrounded by crossed wooden ribbons like the red threads of ancient dolls. The contrast between ceramics and wood recovered from ancient Carpathian houses creates a symbolic link between craft tradition, family memory and nature. A sculptural tribute to cultural roots and to the protective spirit of the home.
