After surviving the 1755 Lisbon earthquake, the royal family decided to live in a much more solid residence than before. It was during the construction of the palace of Ajuda and, from there, several families inhabited it. Inspired by this exquisite building, with such strong roots, Malabar designers conceived this timeless Cortez Console. Supported by two shapely designed geometric feet, the console’s top is made of lacquered wood, embellished with coated metallic gold leaf details.
