Lost in a souk in Marrakech, Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga found himself sipping tea from a traditional glass. He noted this glass was typically decorated with the facades of a palace. There, in the midst of the souk’s inebriating scents and with a tiny example of imperial beauty between his fingers, Giberto conceived the Palazzo Glasses. With the help of our Muranese Master Engraver, a series of 6 glasses was envisioned and created, each with the facade of a Venetian palace: Palazzo Ariani, Palazzo Grimani, Palazzo Ducale, Ca' d'Oro, Palazzo Papadopoli, Palazzo Spinelli.
