Jai is a small handblown cylindrical glass that comes in a variety of colours, is finished with a platinum lip and further embellished with a circular semiprecious stone.“Jai is the result of a trip to Jaipur, the magical capital of Rajasthan, where the idea of using semiprecious stones for some of my pieces came to me”.The selection of a stone to apply was quite a tricky one, given the need to create a chromatic dialogue with the transparency of the glass: my choice in the end fell on hematite because of its rather steely blue that marries well with the essential nature of glass”.
