This vase-sculpture by Andriy and Olesya Voznicki freely reinterprets the protective silhouette of the Ukrainian folk doll. Its curved shape, almost in motion, breaks with the initial verticality to express an organic, almost living momentum. The sculptural and powerful ceramic body is crossed by ancient wooden crossed ribbons — a nod to the common thread that surrounded traditional dolls. Inlaid according to the architectural codes of Carpathian roofs, these recycled wood elements connect the work to the earth, to memory and to ancestral gestures.Product specifications
