Bronze work is a traditional craft in Burkina Faso. The artist first creates a wax sculpture that is covered with a mixture of sand, clay, and manure and then dried. The mold is then baked, the wax melts and escapes through the holes. The molten alloy is cast and takes the place of the wax. Once cooled, the mold is broken in order to extract the sculpture and perform the final finishes. Each piece is therefore unique.Manufactured and marketed fairly in Burkina Faso, in Africa.Each piece is unique and may differ slightly from the image.Product specifications
